Why cutting tool exists

Trimming pauses, writing captions, cutting between podcast cameras and finding the best clips from a long recording are necessary parts of editing — but they're also the most repetitive. cutting tool automates those specific steps and leaves the creative decisions to you, right inside the Premiere Pro timeline you already work in.

What we believe

• Your footage stays yours. Editing runs on your own PC; nothing is uploaded to be cut. The AI features are optional and only run when you ask.
• Tools should fit your workflow, not replace it. cutting tool is a panel inside Premiere Pro, not a separate app you have to export to and from.
• Pricing should be simple. One license, every feature — no artificial tiers gating basic functionality behind a higher plan.

Where things stand

cutting tool is in active development, with an early-bird offer for the first 100 buyers. Recent updates added styled and animated captions with brand kits, Shorts & Reels in any shape, and AI posts & content; podcast multicam and Mic Gate are coming next. New features ship as free updates to license holders during their active term.
